The Word Hub is a place to practice Word Alchemy.
Here, words are not only used to communicate.
They are brought into conscious practice.
You can explore the written and spoken work in the library, learn ways to work directly with words, and enter the free ABCs of Word Alchemy Playshop to experience the practice for yourself.
The work begins with the language already present in your life.
One word. One letter. One meaning at a time.

A brief registration provides access to the Hub and the resources gathered there.
Once inside, you can explore the library, enter The ABCs of Word Alchemy Playshop, and work with the practices that speak to you.
There is no required order and no schedule to follow.

There is no requirement to purchase the deck or take a course in order to enter.
Some people will use the free practices and materials available here.

A FREE PLAYSHOP
Language is learned early.
The alphabet is one of the first structures we are given — letters arranged, repeated, memorized, and eventually joined together to form the words we use throughout our lives.
The ABCs of Word Alchemy brings you back to that beginning.
The alphabet was chosen deliberately.
Its 26 letters are the building blocks of the English language. Every English word you read, write, speak, or think is formed from them.
When this Playshop was brought through to me, it came in response to a particular question:
What could someone experience through Word Alchemy that would still have value if this were their only encounter with the work?
The answer was to begin at the foundation.
In this Playshop, you meet the complete alphabet again — not simply as a set of learned symbols, but as the building blocks of the language you have been carrying and using throughout your life.
Using a pen, paper, your hands, and your voice, you move through a deliberate process of Unspelling and Upspelling.
Each letter is:
Unspelled — inherited meaning and existing associations are loosened.
Upspelled — a fresh relationship with each letter of the alphabet is consciously established through this Word Alchemy practice.
You use your hands.
You use your voice.
You may even hear yourself singing as you consciously participate in your relationship with the alphabet.
This is why the Playshop begins with letters rather than individual words.
You may go on to work consciously with individual words through Word Alchemy.
Or this may be the only Word Alchemy practice you ever do.
Either way, you have begun with the foundation from which the words themselves are formed.
